Dr. Kidd is a senior executive with 18 years of cross-functional experience in agribusiness including finance, strategic planning and biotechnology. He is skilled in negotiating and closing transactions.

Currently, Dr. Kidd is President of Kidd & Company, Inc., a firm that provides strategic planning and transactional services to agribusiness companies. He is currently on assignments with two multinational firms and serving as an independent board member for BioGuard Technologies, Inc.

Dr. Kidd has delivered over 160 presentations to international conferences and boards of directors as spokesman for the biotechnology and agribusiness industries. He provides analysis and commentary for Nature Publishing, Scranton-Gillette, and Betrock Publishing. His commentaries on agribusiness and management practices appear monthly in Nature's Bio/Technology and in other trade publications.

Dr. Kidd earned a B.A. in biology from Vanderbilt University, M.A. in biology from Harvard University, M.B.A. in finance from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and Ph.D. in cell biology from Harvard University. Additionally, he was a National Science Foundation Fellow in biology at the California Institute of Technology and Postdoctoral Fellow in biomedical sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
